St. James Church
Description
The church was founded at the beginning of the 15th century by the penitential confraternity of the ‘Battuti’, but the current building is the result of various interventions carried out throughout the 19th century, as shown, for example, by the classic façade (1836). The only altar, of the 19th century, includes part of the original 1682 version by Domenico Corberelli. Between 1868 and 1902, Valentino Pupin and Tomaso Pasquotti painted the Our Lady of Pains and the overall decoration. The old altarpiece looming above was painted by an artist from Schio, Zambon Zamboni (1642).
