Description

Starting point: Santacaterina (parking area near the church).

The path starts from the church and, after the first part of the trail, you find the paved road until the first curve, where you abandon the street to penetrate the forest.

The second road you cross is the one to Cerbaro, and then you leave it at the hairpin to climb until contra'  Costenieri. If you keep climbing you will reach contra' Rossi (don't miss a visit at the panoramic promontory and of S. Caterinella church).

By following the paved road to Novegno, after having overpassed a "roccolo", you have to turn left on a dirt road where you will find some remains of a lime kiln.

The path crosses little clearings characterized by tumbleweed and sheds, and, after some others deviations, by following the path marks you will reach contra'  Piazza, near S. Caterina.
